It’s been nearly a week since the epic release of Lily & Madeleine‘s The Weight of the Globe. The album sat snug in the top fives downloads on bandcamp for days while collecting positive reviews from listeners all over the web. A continuous comment was the notable difference in the finished arrangements of the tunes from the acoustic video clips posted to YouTube. Today, the duo released a three-song EP featuring the those acoustic tracks. While the finished versions on The Weight of the Globe are just as amazing and beautiful, those raw, bare-bones tracks hold a strong weight as well, and I’m glad they are now available for listeners.
