Well, it seems with another impressive new album opens another door of opportunities for local band husband&wife as they are not only rounding out their second tour in support of Proud Flesh, but have also been featured for a second live session on Daytrotter.com. Their first session was back in 2009 promoting dark dark woods, and this session is definitely full of tracks with a little more lift and beat.
Featuring three tracks from the new album and a bonus track recorded for Laminar Excursion Monthly (awesome music subscription project from XRA and Flannelgraph Records), this session is complemented by a detailed write-up from Daytrotter’s Sean Moeller. Titled “To Honor Those Limited Breaths And Dwindling Days”, Moeller carefully describes the emotional weight that can be felt in the lyrics of most husband&wife songs.
While there you can download the session on your choice of audio file, check out their 2009 session, and even purchase their entire album catalog. Gotta love a one stop shop!
