I love good news and this news is far too good to keep. On Thursday, September 27, The Bluebird stage will be graced with an amazing night of live music as Chicago’s Maps & Atlases make their third trip to Bloomington this year, sharing the stage with local heavy-hitters Murder By Death.
This is a concert not to be missed. Seriously, you all know by know that I’m a committed Maps & Atlases fan, but Murder By Death has always been one of my top bands to see live. The energy that band projects on stage is electrifying and with a new album Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon (due out Sept. 25) to celebrate, expect to hear a ton of new songs including “I Came Around”, which you can check out now on RCRD LBL. Plus, this town really knows how to party it up for the MBD album release. 🙂
Get your tickets now as you don’t want to miss this! Tickets are $15 (way reasonable for two AMAZING bands), doors open at 9pm, and sorry kiddies, this show is for 21 and up.
PS: Murder By Death always goes the extra mile to make special edition vinyl formats of its albums, help the band accomplish this for Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon by making a pledge on Kickstarter!! 19 days to left…
