It’s April?? Hibernation is over??

Hey there! Do you still read, follow, and/or subscribe to this blog? Because if so, I am thankful for you. It’s easy to get caught up in winter up here in the Midwest. The cold drags on, you go to work and come home, you feel drained and a little less inspired. At least I do. Well, the sun popped out this weekend and we hit 70 degrees in Bloomington. I put on shorts and am feeling alive.

So what to do now?? GET OUT AND GO SEE SOME MUSIC!!

We’ve been slowly coming out of our heated shells this week in Bloomington, and now the spring “students are about to leave’ concert season is upon us. Here are some great shows coming up that I think you should check out!

THIS WEEK:

4/9: MEAT PUPPETS with The Cringe @ The Bishop, 9 PM (21+) My reasons stated here

4/13: WIUX Culture Shock/BCEC Addicted to Music Festival @ IU Dunn Meadow (12p-??) FREE, All Ages: Mikal Cronin, Maps & Atlases, Apache Dropout, Jamaican Queens, Oshwa, Teepee, Fluffer, Charlie Patton’s War, Brownie Mountain. – As a WIUX and BCEC-alum and big fan of most of these bands, I highly recommend you go, rain or shine.

4/16: Jukebox the Ghost with Rodeo Ruby Love and Pretty & Nice @ Old National Centre (Indianapolis), 7 PM
