Cloud Control Hits the USA (but not the Midwest)…again.

I’m always contemplating my grand exodus from the Midwest, but I really get the urge to just pack everything in the car and leave when my favorite foreign bands finally visit the U.S, play only a limited number of dates, and skip the Midwest like there’s nothing out here but corn. But alas, this is the case again with one of my faves Australia’s (but we’ve been living and recording in London) Cloud Control.

After finally getting a taste of the new album Dream Cave (U.S. distribution please?) with single “Dojo Rising“, I nearly screamed in joy when I saw that the band had some U.S. shows lined up. Of course, there are six shows,  2 on the east coast and 4 on the west coast… oh, and they are in two weeks. The budget just isn’t looking promising for a quick trip across the country.

BUT, if you happen to live on the northeast coast (NYC) or the southwest/northwest coast (CA/Portland/Seattle) PLEASE do your ears and souls a favor and go out to see this band. And for you lucky Europe-dwellers, they’ll be touring with Local Natives in the fall (or whichever season October is for you.) I promise you they are so worth it.
