Cloud Control Takes on Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You” for Record Store Day Release

Start your day with something a little trippy, a little spacey, a little… echo-y. UK-based Australian band Cloud Control recently posted their interpretation of the Fatboy Slim 1999 classic “Praise You”. The track is featured on the band’s UK label Infectious Music‘s 5th anniversary compilation which is set for release this weekend for Record Store Day (April 19). The compilation, titled 5, features colored vinyl with exclusive tracks and covers from the label’s diverse roster, including The Temper Trap, Local Natives, Superfood, and Drenge. Check out Superfood’s update on the Beastie Boys anthem “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party)“.

Cloud Control will be back in the US in May starting in Atlanta, GA and making their way across the country for the sold out Sasquatch! Festival in Washington state. As someone who was able to catch them live during their last US tour, I highly recommend you mark your calendars. Check the tourdates here.

In the meantime, let’s all take a moment to adore this awkward visual classic:
